Metal material for kitchen appliances

Let me begin by reminding you that for a young professional, an engineer, a physician, or an economics or from any stream, the importance of a blog in today’s competitive world is inescapable and important personal tool for professional advancement. Therefore, this answer is irrespective of the fact that you are an E&E Engineer. A blog permits visitors to engage with the owner or the writer of the blog. When diligently and regularly updated it establishes you as “some sort of an authority” in your industry. Once you have posted about your talks at seminars, presence at conferences and trade meets you are accepted as an authority. In a while, your blogs will take shape so you will have to pivot your entries on some key words germane to your areas of interest. Always end your blog #tags, I mean each blog. This will boost your search engine rate and you will get repeat visitors because they expect that depth and quality.

Before beginning, you should be clear about following points. There are not written in stone, can be modified, and rewritten but the least you do the more powerful will be your voice.

a) Strategy – decide on your purpose, goals, intent and goals

b) Enroll People - begin with your friends and you will have to do everything, ethically, to get people to visit your blog

c) Schedules – firm up on your schedule like periodicity, lengths, complexity, frequency etc. to let your visitors know when they can expect your blog

d) Presentation – apart from the use of standard bells and whistles like pictures, video’s, talk show etc. try to make your blog different from others so that it stands out which readers begin to accept from you and is your signature

e) Links - never hesitate to point links to any matter that is germane to your blog no matter how remote. Good judgement is the key

There are other factors, which you will realize as you go along.

Now coming to an Engineering blog or a Blog by an Engineer, I have these for your consideration:

1) Engineering Projects, you are associated with or know well about other projects in your company or someone you know well. Highlight your role, achievements, your team, challenges, innovation, your time utilization etc. You can write updates from time to time illustrating with pictures, diagrams etc.

2) Focus on tools and techniques used. In practical life the processes are different from what you read, perhaps they were absent. Highlight application knowledge and techniques. The learning from this is an important contribution to your profession, company and yourself.

3) Give a tour of your manufacturing, shipping, inventory or any other departmental space with photographs and videos.

4) Capture the hustle and bustle in photographs the start of the day at your factory or office as people come in and when they leave not forgetting on the manufacturing floor.

5) Reviews of your project, the life cycle of a product, make comparisons of latest with the previous version outlining improvements.

6) Industry, technology updates; rules and regulations in force or as they change and your comments on them with your suggestions

7) Environmental impact of your technology, processes, use of your products etc. delineating safety aspects and making them environmentally safe

8) Occasionally shake things up at industry level. Rock the boat as they say agreeing or disagreeing violently within bounds of decency and ethics.

9) Get to interviewing thought or application leaders in your industry, either on phone or through a chat or sending a questionnaire. Begin the first interview with your boss or you’re ceo and they will love it and making you known.

10) Once you have 30/35 entries you will be visible people will automatically recognize you.

11) Your company will love your interviewing your customers and encourage you to do so. This enhances your company’s image and customer happy to be in print with pictures.

12) Write on histories of your industry, company, people, board of directors

13) Engage with consultants and listen to their stories and they will be happy to pontificate on their profession, rules and regulations, their expertise, where the industry is headed to

14) Condense/abridge, say 1/15 th length, of important papers.

15) Report on conferences, trade shows, panel discussion and once industry association know of your blogs, they would like you to do additional writing.

16) College matters etc.

There is no end.

Good luck and best wishes. Hope this inspire you
